Description:

Slash is a 4-5 foot male young adult red tail boa. He seems to have had some sort of trauma in the past to the end of his tail. Will need minimal help to remove the shed at the very tip of his tail when he does shed. He is easy to handle, and eats frozen/thawed rats. The Northern California Herpetological Society accepts unwanted pet reptiles and provides them with vet checks and supportive care as needed. Adopters are expected to be familiar with the care and handling of the species. We are based in Sacramento, CA, and do not ship animals. A donation of $30 is requested to help cover our vet costs.
