Call for Price: LULU: EDB 4/00, dilute tortie, long hair Lulu is a sweetheart with a hard-luck story. She was adopted from Happy Tails as a kitten. She was returned in December 2007 because her parents had divorced. She was left with the father and was apparently abused by him. The in-laws stepped in to rescue her, but couldn't keep her, so they returned her to us. It was then discovered that most of her teeth had been broken off, so she had to have most of her teeth pulled. She recovered from that and was adopted in a couple of months, but her new adopter, an older woman, had to return her in July 2008 because she could no longer give her the care she needed. Lulu has very long hair and needs daily brushing (which she loves), but when she came back this time, she was very matted. So we are slowly cutting out her mats and returning her to her beautiful self. She has been a little cranky during that process, but is generally a very sweet cat, despite everything she has been through. Her recent owner was very sad to give her up and said she had been a wonderful cat. She is not crazy about being around all the other cats, so we would like her to get a new, really permanent, home this time and soon. Please come meet Lulu at the Happy Tails Adoption Center, at our new location at 6001 Folsom Blvd. in Sacramento, CA! The Happy Tails Adoption Center is open Wednesday through Sunday Noon - 6 pm. Like all Happy Tails cats, Lulu has been spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV and FIV, vaccinated, microchipped, treated with Advantage (has no fleas), dewormed, and checked out by a veterinarian. Also, because of her experienced age, Lulu is available for free adoption to a senior human! Please ask about it! Lulu is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
